be certain that a valid gtin bar-code has been stamped on the product,
at the factory, by the manufacturer, the digits are exactly accurate and
are below a valid bar-code, were purchased from and assigned by gs1,
gs1 can verify the ownership/license back to a specific manufacturer,

the brand value being submitted aligns with the gs1 ownership details,
and the values being used are valid and designed for global-trade --
that is, the exact, specific, product is currently being sold by,
and is in the physical inventory of, multiple retail merchants.

generally, self-assigned global-trade-data is not allowed.

otherwise, do not submit any such global-trade-data -- do not submit
any gtin, do not submit any brand, do not submit any mpn, and submit
the identifier_exists attribute with a value of no for all such items.

otherwise, google may be contacted directly.
