Incorrect Automatic Pricing Updates

I am have a problem with pricing.  As follows:

1) I have products with prices that vary according to the size eg:

2) Each size has a product object in the structured data with the correct price set

3) However I get a message in Google Merchant Center "Automatic item updates due to incorrect prices" where the price is automatically being set to the wrong price eg in the above example item 9914 had the price updated from 3.51GBP (correct) to 2.16 GBP (incorrect).  This is the price of the smallest size brush

How do I resolve this issue?

Each product you submit, be it a variant or just a configurable main product must have the data match 100% from the data feed to the product landing page.

So if the variant you submit is the 1/4th size, the product landing page must pre-select the correct size and the price must reflect it. Simply submitting the main product will not be valid.

This needs to be server side, meaning you can not use javascript to change the data after the page is loaded as Google's Shopping bot will not be able to read this.

To correctly submit variant products, is to submit each variant with a unique URL. So that you can write a server side script to change the selection box and the price.

For example https://www.curtisward.com/pro-arte-connoisseur-one-stroke-flat-brush-series-99.html?size=337

As you can see at the end of the url is the size id from your website, by doing this you can use PHP to correctly show the variant info.

This is the only correct way for submitting variants. To achieve this, consult your magento or web developer and feed supplier to get this to work.

This is not something you can achieve with plugins, you need to contact a developer add a script to make this work.

If this is not possible, then do not submit variants.

Hope this helps.
