If in Google Merchant Center account Products show as 'Searchable' (with a green tick, pl refer to screenshot below) then does it mean that they are approved by google and are fit to run in shopping campaign? Or is there more to it than what meets the eye?

Thanks in advance

Hi Ritu

If your items are appearing as searchable, this means that they are out of the review period and are able to be found by users.

However, please be aware, that proper linking between your merchant center account and adwords account along with the set-up of shopping campaigns has been carried out. You will also need to set an achievable but competitive bid must your items to show in results.

Link Google Merchant Center Account to Adwords

Set Up Shopping Campaigns

You can use your Adwords interface to ensure your items are gaining impressions, which will validate their activity. Please try and use this to confirm the activity of your items over that of manually self searching. The reasoning for this, is simply, if your ad shows frequently but is never clicked, then the relevancy of this item may be reduced, affecting it being show as often or on some ocassions at all within your searches.
