I want to stop the automatic data feeds that Google does. I removed my website name and URL but then the save button is disabled so I am not able to save it this way!

to stop the automatic data feeds --

pause a scheduled-fetch -- simply

click on the pause-schedule button:
feeds -> feed's name -> schedule

there is no save button -- and there is no
need to edit a url simply to pause a feed.

importantly, items will remain as active ads
within the shopping-campaign and as active
items within the merchant-center-account

for up to 30-days, even if the feed is paused.

Hello

What if I discover some disapproved items in my feeds, can I pause my feed schedule and work on the issue without getting disapproved in the meantime ?

I mean, will Google still conclude everyday that I have errors in my feed or will Google just ignore my feeds during that time ?

Thank you very much for your help

generally, once an item is disapproved
that status will remain until the issue
is resolved -- regardless of any pause.

if the feed is not scheduled to expire within a week or so
and there are no changes to the website or inventory then,
the feed may be paused until the issue is understood --
otherwise, the feed should usually not be paused since
items not disapproved must be kept up-to-date to stay
within the active listings.

the feed (items) expire naturally every 30-days.

after the issue is corrected -- in the feed or on the website
or both -- then, simply resubmit or un-pause the data-feed
so the feed, item, image, and website can be reevaluated.

resubmitting the data usually triggers a reevaluation --

assuming the appropriate changes have been made

to fix the issues.

Ok, so my account cannot get disapproved if I pause the feed in which there are errors ?
Or do I have 30 days to pause the feed schedule, solve the issue and then unpause the schedule again ?
And if I can't manage to solve the issue after 30 days, can I just remove the feed with errors in order not to get my account disapproved ?

Thank you very much for your answer

first, you're welcome.

(1) items may be disapproved and an account suspended
at any time -- pausing a feed cannot prevent such actions.

(2) for most disapprovals google gives 7-days to fix the issue.

there is no need to pause or remove the feed;
simply fix the issue, or remove the item from
the feed, within 7-days of the disapproval --
then, resubmit the feed.

the 30-days is mainly for overall quality updates and has nothing
whatever to do with a disapproval; the feed must be resubmitted

at least every 30-days -- typically, a week before expiration -- or,

whenever a critical change to the site or on-hand inventory occurs

(3) never, ever, remove the registered feed for any reason --
unless a person at google indicates to do so; removing the
feed will remove all items.

generally, be certain there is only one, single,

data-feed registered for the target-country.

use the same registered data-feed for any and all updates --
e.g. item deletions, additions, changes, fixes, or resubmits.
