I want to report a violation

I'm trying to report a violation for a merchant providing inaccurate information. When I get to the 'Link to search results containing non-compliant item'  I put in the url address and send in the report but it keeps coming back with an error stating 'Please provide the URL to the search results with the item violating policy';. What am I doing wrong? does anyone have an example of what google will accept. Can anyone provide an example  search result that Google will accept?

Hi

Are you using the link provided here ? -

https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/policy?hl=en-GB&cfnti=lang.report_policy_vio_aw&cft=3

It may be a temporary problem or alternatively, it may be an issue with
your browser. Have you tried an alternative browser?

What is the link you are providing?

Tom

Hi

My computer is windows 8, I've also used a separate computer with windows 7 on.  Both have the same problem.  When I send a report in it will only allow me to send a single complaint.  I can not list all of the problems off one user.  Also, I've cleared my cash and all old files etc.  It still does the same.

Regards

Chris

You can only send one url, one complaint topic per submit.
The url needs to be the search URL.

Based on your info, this is the only answer I can come up with. Alternatively call a Google Adwords Team Member.

They don't even care even though you send your report.

They just kept sending me the same emails.

So frustrated.

this is a rather old thread.

the reported url must be the url of the ad --

not the merchant or product landing-page.

the url submitted, for any potential shopping-ad violation, must be the
google-provided link to the retailer's landing page; that is, the ad-click
that contains an aclk within the url -- not the retailer's landing-page.

the url must include an aclk;

e.g.

https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=long-ai&ctype=5&ved=long-ved&dblrd=1&val=long-val&sig=long-sig&adurl=escaped-landing-page

potential shopping-ad violations may be reported directly to google:
https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/policy

generally, google considers any reported violation private information

and will usually not discuss any details or status, whatsoever, except

with the merchant/advertiser who is under investigation; there is no

set time for how long an investigation may take.

without an aclk ad-click url, any improper information within organic-search
results are separate and are likely best resolved directly with the merchant.
