Can you guys verify it for me? I uploaded the google analytics tracking codes (I have two for some reason) into the head section of my theme.liquid file on shopify.

this is mainly a peer-to-peer forum.

generally, only the owner of the website domain can verify the site.

verification is usually best handled directly within
the google-search-console-account, then later

claimed using the merchant-center-account.

each e-commerce site's details may be very
different with respect to the details and what
is allowed, and only one method is needed.

if there are any issues with verification, the best likely course would
be to ask the hosting-company support directly, or the e-commerce site
support directly (e.g. shopify-support), and also possibly ask within
the webmaster-central-help-forums.

analytics issues are best handled by posting in the analytics forums.

unfortunately, there is no one set of step-by-step instructions.

any step-by-step instructions would depend on

the e-commerce website and what is allowed or
supported by the website's hosting-company.

there are many step-by-step instructions possible --

one set of step-by-step instructions that works on

one website, may not work, at all, on another site.

the best likely course is usually to contact the website

hosting-company or whoever is supporting the website

e-commerce system, for exact step-by-step instructions.

or, possibly post a public url link to the website,

in the webmaster-central-help-forums and ask

for help with step-by-step instructions for how

to verify, that particular website:

https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!categories/webmasters/verification

otherwise, google may be contacted:
https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/website_verification

For Shopify :

Login to google merchant and click on business information > website and click on advanced or more options and choose html (meta tag)

Than follow the instructions here : https://help.shopify.com/themes/customization/store/verify-domain-with-third-party-services

Please note as mentioned by others, this is public forum supported by volunteers, the members that help are not part of Google. So demanding things from a volunteer is not a great way to ask for help.

For future reference, a simple search online will provide you with a ton of guides on how to do things. For example in this case simply search for install meta tags google merchants for shopify

Hope it helps.
