I'm having trouble running Google Shopping feeds from Shopify

I started this site about a month ago, submitted all my products to google shopping and they've just hung there - Screenshot 2018-01-30 15.21.36.png

 

 

I've gotten the error message "Image crawl delay: Make sure Google has permission to crawl your images." As soon as I edit the product and save again it will go back into the pending status.  I was told by Shopify to resubmit my sitemap, but nothings changed, my console shows - Screenshot 2018-01-29 14.53.05.png

 

So it may be just the images having trouble, they're hosted on the shopify CDN.  Any thoughts or ideas?

the best likely course is to re-contact shopify-support
directly and have a person from shopify-support inspect
all the data being sent to google, including image url's,
for shopping-ads:

generally, when contacting shopify-support,

be certain to emphasize that the issue relates

to google-shopping-ads.

sitemaps have nothing whatever to do with shopping-ads -- images for
google-organic-search and the google-search-console relate to sitemaps.

images for shopping-ads are crawled separatly by the google-merchant-center,
based on the submitted image_link and related attributes -- not any sitemap.

within the merchant-center-account --

check the home-tab and diagnostics-tabs:
https://merchants.google.com/mc/merchantdashboard
https://merchants.google.com/mc/insights
https://merchants.google.com/mc/apidashboard
click on any current-issues messages within the blue-boxes, near the bottom.

check item-status and final-attribute and value details,
by clicking on the item's title, under the products-list-tab:
https://merchants.google.com/mc/items

check the message-archive by clicking on the mail-envelope and subject-lines:
https://merchants.google.com/mc/inbox

also, the linked ad-account may sometimes show additional issues, by clicking
on the speech-bubble, in the product-status column, beneath the products-tab,
under the shopping-campaign, within the linked ad-account.

for any google-merchant-center reported issues, simply fix

the issues within the shopify-account and then resubmit all

google-shopping-ad related data, to google, from shopify.

 

posting the issue within the shopify-community-forums may also help.
