How to use Google Shopping if your products don't have a GTIN or MPN?

Hello all,

I am trying to set-up a Google Shopping Product feed through a Google merchant account, but none of my products have GTIN or MPN.

Is there a work-around for this?

if the required global-trade-data does not exist,
simply submit identifier_exists FALSE and then
do not submit any global-trade-data for that item --
do not submit any brand, gtin, or mpn for that item.

note that the merchant (shop) brand is set in the account,
submitted for all items automatically, and cannot normally
be submitted as the brand value for any item.

also, be certain that the product truly does not have the (google) required

global-trade-data as assigned by the brand-manufacturer -- for example,

most apparel items only require a valid brand; certain brand items must

have global-trade-data or cannot be submitted; identifier_exists FALSE

cannot be used if the required global-trade-data simply cannot be easily

submitted or cannot be easily located, such as for older or used items.
