You will need to identify which is your main product, as you created the bundle you will need to decide. It could be the most expensive item, or the biggest. There is no real rule defining what is the main product, but it's the most logical item that stands out in a certain way.

Also make sure you enable is_bundle to true

Hi,

1) If you check out this article it is clearly specified that don't use Main Product unless you are clear for the main product. Don't you feel it will create a problem as Main product as per google is as given below

https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/7052112?visit_id=1-636215270128807883-3049288505&rd=1#is...

* Don't use this attribute for bundles without a clear main product. For example, a gift basket containing cheese and crackers *

2) { https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/6324449

The main item of a bundle is the featured product of those items included in the bundle. The additional items should be accessories or add-ons that complement the main item. Examples:

For a doll sold with a set of clothes that aren’t packed with the doll, the doll is the main item and the clothes complement it.

For a video game console sold with three video games, the video game console is the main item. }

3) Still if i use My lunch box as main product and use GTIN of lunch box and ofcourse Brand also of lunch box then will it not create duplicate GTIN i.e first time i have already used this GTIN where i have added this lunch box as individual product in my merchant in xml feed and second this this GTIN i am going to use in bundle product so what next ? will it not create an issue or clashing of same GTIN two times or so ?

Please reply.

Thanks!

Hi,

1) Your first point is correct, if this applies to you. As mentioned before, if you can define a main product than you will need to use the GTIN of the main product. With the example cheese and crackers it is emphasizing that there is no main product.

2) As you are the merchant you need to define this yourself, nobody here would be able to give you a correct answer as it is your bundle.

3) As per Google's policy you can not submit 2 identical products, as 1 single and 1 bundle pack is not the same you are ok to submit the products as you are doing.

I know this is not very helpful as in giving you a strait answer, it is that your question is very hard to give a simple yes or no answer. You could contact Google Adwords for additional info. However I think you will get the same answer.

How the policy is written is that you as a merchant need to come up with the ether the main product, or if there is none and none have a GTIN, is to set identifier exists to false or no.
