How to fufill color attribute?

I get wholesale item purchase and they send me a feed where i can upload to my shop. However the color they put is sometimes not included  or has different input which flags google to disapprove my items that require color.  I don't have the time individually rename each cell and realize google won't allow words like "see photo" etc.. Is there something I can do about this as its quite frustrating they won't accept "see photo" when photo will even have mixture of colors.

Any universal color I can put or something to bypass color ? Unless your color blind, google makes it quite diffiult

there is no such bypass or workaround.

google has rather strict rules, policies, and guidelines, for all
attributes submitted that must reflect the actual physical item.

color must be only one, single, value, that
accurately describes one, exact, product,
that is being sold and shipped to the user,
and must use a recognizable color name --
such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, etc --
and match the color on the link landing-page.

values that are not actual colors -- such as see photo -- are never allowed.

if an accurate color value cannot be submitted,
consider a supplemental-feed, feed-rule, or simply
do not submit such items, at all.

too many, or too frequent, policy-flags may result in a
more serious permanent suspension-flag, at any time.

some items or business-models are simply not a good fit for shopping-ads --
in those cases, consider using other campaign-types for advertising.

I heard of this

"consider a supplemental-feed, feed-rule, or simply"

Does it fill in the color if its blank automatically if i set it? I'm guessing thats the case

Hi, feed rules cannot be automatic and always need to be created based on rules. For example, if you have a color in the title, you could say something like this. If the title contains blue, then attribute color has value blue.

So you need to manually set the rules, before they can fill in any values.

If a color is not added, then manually add in the feed. If you do not have time to do this, then do not submit the product at all.

Google has policies that each merchant needs to follow, without any exceptions.

Hope this helps.

as was indicated, feed-rules require a condition,

usually based on other information within the

existing primary-feed, to override an attribute,

such as color.

a supplemental-feed is another form of a feed-rule;

a supplemental-feed requires the item's id and the

attributes and values that will override the data in

the primary-feed -- typically in a spreadsheet; e.g.

id color

abc123 Orange

in either case, there is no automation to create the rules.

after the rules are set and configured, then the created rules automatically
will override the primary-feed -- for specific items, attributes, and values,
that match the rules.

as was indicated, if all data for an item

cannot meet all google's rules -- after

all processing is complete -- then the

item cannot be submitted, at all.
