How long before I can use a newly uploaded feed to create a dynamic responsive ad?

Hello!

I am new to remarketing and dynamic responsive ads that communicate with a feed of products.

However I need to create such a campaign now and I have uploaded a custom feed in my business data and even scheduled it to update every 12 hours.

Most of the items in my feed has been reviewed and approved but there are still about 30 items under review.

I tried creating a responsive dynamic ad for my campaign believing it will use the approved items and still run.

Unfortunately my feed is not detected at all in the ad gallery > Dynamic ads > Custom image ad. What could be the cause of this?

Does it mean that all my items have to be approved before that feed appears or is there some other issue I need to resolve?

google takes about 72-hours to inspect all items in a newly submitted feed --
simply wait about three-business-days for google to inspect all items and

landing-pages for any policy related issues.

if the review takes more than 72-hours or so, simply contact google.

importantly, for the custom-business-data-type, the
business-data-section in the ad-account, must be used
to submit the feed -- not the merchant-center-account.

the business-type selection determines how the data-feed must be submitted.

the merchant-center-account cannot be used to submit any
feed for dynamic-display-ads for the custom-business-type,
or any other business-data-type -- except retail.

the merchant-center-account can only be used to submit a
feed for dynamic-display-ads for the retail-business-type.

using the merchant-center-account for remarketing/dynamic-display-ads,
for the retail-business-type, is mainly a convenience feature for existing
retail-merchants using shopping-ads -- so that the existing shopping-ads

feed may be used for both shopping-ads and remarketing/dynamic-ads.

if the business-data-type selected was retail, then the
merchant-center-account must be used to submit the
feed, and the ad-account and merchant-center-account
must be properly linked -- by default, google will then

check that all data, images, landing-pages, the website,

and all physical inventory, adhere to both shopping-ad

and display-ad/remarketing, rules and policies.

Thank you for the detailed and exhaustive answer!

I will wait for the 3 business days as you suggested and see what happens.

I have used the business data section for submitting the feed, not the merchant center because it turned out that the merchant center is not supported in my country (Bulgaria) yet. So basically that was my only option.
