How do I report incorrect shopping data?

When I see incorrect data in the google shopping product details, how do I report that?

For example, this product lists two part numbers in the details section - 1814308 and S0899390:

https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/229499703193681844...

The problem is that those are two completely different products - the product described is the S0899390, but I am trying to list the 1814308 which is something different.

Also, where are these details held?   I would assume that google has a giant database with a master record for each product, and then it matches products from our product feed to the 'master data' using the GTIN and MPN.  But having chatted to a google tech he seemed to suggest that there is no such DB and all the details are generated from the product feeds (what, in real time???).  Which does beg the question, if different peoples feeds have different information how does google decide which is correct?  and how to we weed out bad information?

I have also seen other examples, in the product range we sell, where the picture is of a completely different model to the MPN and description.

So where does this info come from, and how can we correct it?

there should be a send-feedback link near the bottom of
most results-pages to report such issues directly to google.

google has not yet publicly specified the source of compare-prices data --
despite being asked many many times before; generally, the information
has been from submitted data or sometimes from the manufacturer.

submitting any invalid global-trade-data or any image that

is not of the exact product being sold and shipped are both

policy violations and grounds for disapproval or suspension --

potential policy violations by others may be reported to google:
https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/policy

google may disapprove an item or suspended an account at any time.

the manufacturer may also submit a manufacturers-feed directly to google
via the manufacturer-center -- this may help google to flag merchants who
submit inaccurate or invalid global-trade-data.

Indeed, but who is submitting the incorrect data/images? If there are 50 resellers all submitting feeds, whose image/desc/mpn is it using...?

ok, I'll submit feedback that way, though having done that before on other products I suspect it all just goes into a big black hole and nobody ever does anything about it...

indeed, I seem to remember submitting feed back on this one at least once and at least a year ago:

https://www.google.co.uk/shopping/product/2255148007218417743?q=dymo duo&biw=1920&bih=1024&bav=on.2,or.&bvm=bv.124088155,d.d2s&tch=1&ech=1&psi=MRNXV8O4JMbXa53PsYgE.1465324338151.5&prds=hsec:specs,paur:ClkAsKraX4HG6sbPvoXAxjqVAJs1iwkqXgJRwdOx1q5j6dEf7gIdUoobbH_w7cHuV6GRE3hOzmjI20iPBUj6xTOHQH7VbrRCP9AbnLOJvNRrSg2eMM0h2M5qohIZAFPVH71e8tbBowXhq5a7Z82i9HwtCFZilg&ved=0ahUKEwjnrcLJxpbNAhXEyRoKHUqFAB4Q2SsIKA&ei=OxNXV6ekBsSTa8qKgvAB

The picture is clearly a labelwriter duo, while the description is of a completely different model - the labelwriter turbo which looks nothing like the duo... but still the same now... just wasting my time...

when reporting any such issue be certain that
the exact ad-click (aclk) url is being submitted
for review -- any other url on google-shopping,
the user's website, or any screen-captures, are
generally not enough for google to investigate.

the google-provided (aclk) link is required.

otherwise, there is simply no time frame on policy investigations.

If you are the manufacturer or if you want to contact the manufacturer, they or you (if the manufacturer) can submit accurate data via the link below

https://www.google.com/retail/manufacturer-center/

I think this is correct. @Celebird
