How do I change prices on my website so Google recognized them in their feed?

I can put an item on sale, which means my website is showing a retail and a "sale" price. When Google runs their feed, its memory seems to only recognize the retail price and does not acknowledge the sale price which is prominently listed. Therefore, Google disapproves the item(s). Help?

Hi Linda,

Does your shopping feed have the sale price in it, as well as the regular price?

First of retail price is not a price that can be used as reference to sale price. Unless this retail price is what you use as a sale at any given time.

Make sure that the data feed, plugin or management system you are using is sending out the correct price

Make sure that the website has the sale price as the first price visible on the site

Make sure that you have microdata on your website to ensure all the correct values are marked in the backend

Hope it helps.
