How can I set up a campaign with a custom feed where my customers can see the products they browsed?

Hello!

Recently I've been struggling with remarketing with dynamic ads.

My problem is that I'm doing the remarketing in Bulgaria so I cannot use a Merchant Center.

My only option is to upload a custom feed to my Adwords in business data.

I was wondering is there a way that my ads show exactly the products my customers viewed but didn't buy and use the custom feed for that because obviously I cannot use a retail feed where this is set up by default?

Thank you for the help!

yes; simply use the website traffic and purchase details via tags on the site.

the feed-data, regardless of type, is used by google only to create the ads --
tags on the website-pages is what are used to create the various audience-lists.

the data-feed/ads and page-tag/lists are entirely separate --

products-users-browse are based on the tags, not the feed.

I'm using Google Analytics to create the audience that I'm going to show the ads to.

I understand that I can create a condition so my audience is all people that visited the website but didn't make a purchase.

So I can create a dynamic remarketing campaign using my custom product feed that will be targeting this audience.

And I understand that the feed is only used to create the ads but it has also to communicate with tag so that it pulls out the exact product or products that has been viewed by a certain user.

I know that there is a special tag that comes with the retail feed for example so that the feed and tag can communicate.

My problem is that I cannot use a retail feed and retail tag.

I can use only a custom feed and I use the Analytics tag and try to create an audience with it.

there should be no need for any retail-feed
or retail-tag for the custom-business-type.

the primary connection between the feed and the tag is the identifier.

the main difference between the custom-feed and the retail-feed is
simply the attribute/tag names -- the resulting effect is the same.

the retail-feed and retail business-type use id and ecomm_prodid;
the custom-feed and custom business-type use id and dynx_itemid --
to accomplish the same similar tasks.

otherwise, the best likely course is to contact google directly.

Ok, so basically what I have done is:

1. Uploaded a custom feed to my business data section in Adwords and scheduled an update of that feed every 24 hours. (almost all the items on my feed have been approved, there are about 20 still under review);

2. Created an audience in Google Analytics that includes all people that visited my website but didn't purchase anything;

3. Created a display only campaign, enabled dynamic ads for the feed that I have previously uploaded and created those dynamic ad using the ad gallery (all my ads have been approved);

4. Finally under tab "Display Network" > "Interests & Remarketing" I chose to target the previously created in Analytics list of all visitors that didn't purchase.

So does that mean I'm all set and the users that have visited my website will see ads with the products they have viewed or will just the ads contain random products?

I was thinking there must be some setting that I missed?

the steps for dynamic-remarketing are currently here:

for account-specific guidance, the best likely course
would be to contact google, so that a person can look
directly into the accounts and website-pages.
