How Do I Change My Merchant ID for My Google Account

[ Edited ]

I created a Merchant ID and products feed for a client (I guess under my personal gmail). I now want to run my own personal campaigns within my Merchant center dashboard. But I don't want it to be under my client's name/merchant ID.

I sent a linking request to adwords via Merchant center. But the request came from my client's "name".

Should I just remove client's feed, users, etc. and reset it up under their company email address, then upload my product to my Merchant center? If I did that, how do I change settings like the account name?

OR, should I just delete MC account and restart a new one under my Google account?

OR, how can I just add my own products w/o it interfering with client's feed?

Thanks

Hi @James H,

I think I would simply assign them admin access, then remove yourself from that existing Merchant account and then use your personal email to create yourself your own Merchant account.

Kind Regards,

James
