Home Depot Violation

Home Depot is in violation of Google's Policy where it blocks IP's based on countries (Thailand) for all there Google Shopping products.

As reporting the violation to Google using the form does not work due to invalid Google provided link, the only way for me to report the violation is here.

the product-listing-ad violation-form will only accept an aclk ad-link.
https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/policy

otherwise, simply use the following url:
https://www.google.com/aclk?please-see-the-summary-below

then, enter the details within the form's summary section.

however, without the proper ad-click the investigation may be non-optimal.

the link in violation must include the aclk product-listing-ad link --
without the aclk ad-link within the url, the policy-violation-form
will not accept the value.

generally, google will not investigate a potential
policy violation unless the aclk link is included.

e.g.
https://www.google.com/aclk?some-uri-parameter

As Google states how to obtain the link at https://support.google.com/merchants/contact/policy?hl=en&p=shop

So it looks to me that Google does not want certain websites to be reported, as I have looked at several different links and I can see in most links the aclk query string, but on others they are just the URL.

If what you are saying is true then to me it sounds like Google is actively not allowing certain merchants being reported.

Tested on google.com and google.co.uk

I can only find this issue on google.com, on google.co.uk I can find all aclk links.

Why is this?

the google-provided-link is the aclk ad-link.

there should be no issue with reporting
any advertiser if the ad-link is included.

simply locate the product-listing-ad associated with the violation,
follow the directions to obtain a google-provided (aclk) link, and
submit that url within the policy-violation-form.

then, explain the issue as clearly and succinctly as possible.

the policy-violation-form is for reporting potential ad violations.

for issues associated with other links (that are not ads), there is
a feedback-form near the bottom of most search-results; also, if
a site is violating webmaster-guidelines, there is a separate form.

for example, the search-the-web-instead and store-finder links, are not ads.

likely what is wanted, in this particular case:

https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=C97n1ti_6VsDNG4TJhASDr6WIBpmNhrMH6Yby55gB-dbD4ogCCAkQASDezc8eKBRgyablirSk2A-gAceq69UDyAEHqgQnT9C8uy81IC2JbX2dKVMGGPd74m-8U0tk_kRx0Yoi__eAn1QwtaLWwAUFoAYmgAep7L07kAcBqAemvhvYBwHgEoe_m83AtcaINA&sig=AOD64_0QFYM6z6iHXk_yFqOpNhnFrzp8Tw&adurl=http://www.homedepot.com/p/The-Home-Depot-5-gal-Homer-Bucket-3-Pack-05GLHD2/100672960%3Fcm_mmc%3DSEM%7CTHD%7Cgoogle%7CD24%2BPaint%26mid%3Ds8D1Zhfmz%7Cdc_mtid_8903alh25183_pcrid_41104542337_pkw__pmt__product_100672960_slid_&ctype=5&clui=5&q=&ved=0ahUKEwjmpqXUsOXLAhULlR4KHRsfCbIQpysIBQ&ei=ti_6VubzGYuqepu-pJAL

@MosheTLV it would be nice to only accept an answer correct if that is the case. In this case for my situation it is not, can you please undo your mark. Thank you.

In this case how links are displayed on google.com shopping are not all with aclk. Ether Google's demonstration is wrong, or Google changes the link if viewed outside of US or as stated earlier Google does not allow the reporting of all products.

I have attached two images. The first one does not show aclk the second one does.

I have attached the images also to perfectly demonstrate I am fully aware that I can capture the correct URL. So again I am showing that for some reason some URL's do not have aclk and some do.

Even further I will demonstrate in a video that I can easily find url's with and without aclk side by side. Sorry about the music, I was playing my own music while creating the video, I have replaced it with Youtube's stock music.
