I have created a feed in merchant center and uploaded the feed to my adwords-acount. Under the campagin site, my google shopping campaign is active. When i click on the campaign there are something called ad-groups. I have one, but what is these for, and should i create more?

You can create multiple or just 1 ad group. Depending on the size of your product list it would be a good idea to split them up into individual ad groups per brand and or categories.

It also depends on your advertising strategy.

To subdivide, please read this : https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6275317?co=ADWORDS.IsAWNCustomer%3Dfalse&hl=en

Hope it helps.

Hello.

My advice is to pause the campaign and avoid spending any money before you fully understand very well everything related to AdWords, campaigns, campaign structure (ad groups, product groups, etc.), targeting, bidding, budgeting, audiences, etc.

Otherwise there is a high chance that you will spend money without getting anything (or much) in return.

It may seem easy to open an AdWords account and fire up your first campaign, but in reality its complexity and the competition that can be seen nowadays make it highly unlikely to make it profitable before understanding it in detail.

Hope it helps.
