Google Shopping Notificatio - Automatic item updates: Missing schema.org microdata price information

I am having trouble with my Google Merchant. I am using the same import I always have but for some reason everything is showing as disapproved. The error in diagnostics says "Missing Required Attribute - Price." My import has this field and all of the prices are there. None are set as $0. Again - I am not using a new import and the format is the same that I have been using for months. Not sure why it's an issue now. .

generally, the price attribute value should contain a number,
with at most two-digits of precision and a valid three-letter
currency for the target-country, that exactly matches the
single landing-page price and the single structured-data
price for the product-offer, if available, on the page; e.g.
123.45 USD

any sale_price overrides the price attribute.

if there is no structured-data on the website then,
be certain to disable the automatic-item-updates
feature within the merchant-center-account --

if automatic-item-updates are enabled then,

the site must have both valid structured-data

and the structured-data must also adhere to all

google shopping-ads related rules and policies,

especially for variants.

not all data submitted, or on the website, is always checked; google is
constantly checking and rechecking submitted data and websites and
constantly updating their algorithms to detect issues -- issues may be
flagged at any time.

always check all data submitted against all current rules,

specification, and policies -- even when not being flagged.

if the inventory data is submitted via a data-feed file then,
try the download-report link to review all flagged issues --
and try the download-file link to view the file in a browser
and download the file to the local-desktop for inspection,
within a text-editor for example.

also, be certain that only one, single, primary-feed is registered, per country,
and to use the same registered primary feed for all re-uploads, for all time --
register one primary products-feed only once.

that said, this is mainly a peer-to-peer forum and forum-members cannot look
into data or accounts; forum-members can mainly offer suggestions based on
details posted here within the public-forums -- for example, posting an exact
url to the specific feed-file being submitted, or a specific subset of the
feed-file, posting the exact, specific, message being seen, some details
about the registered file, such as if the feed-file is a legacy or a newly
registered feed, screen-captures of the products-feeds-tab, processing
results page, and any feed-rules that were created, etc., may allow other

forum-members to offer more specific suggestions.

otherwise, the best likely course is to contact google directly.

Adding USD to the price in my import did the trick. I didn't have it in my import previously and they all worked up until now so it must be an requirement update.

Thanks!

I noticed this too, before they launched the new UI you could submit prices without the currency in certain circumstances, not all, but it could work if for example you have already submitted the feed with the currency, after that you could submit it without the currency.

Glad you found the issue.
