Hi,

I am sure to find the solution here as many geeks are here.

Actually I wanted to target specific product to be triggered/shown on products ads.

Example: I have an online store of Air conditioners, some people search for model number let's say: GSX130241  > this is an air conditioner of Goodman brand when I create a seperate ad group to target only this specific product by ID, still I get lot's of traffic for general search terms: air conditioner, goodman air conditioner etc. while I want to show this product only in case the model number must be in search query. Is there a way to do this?

I hope to get the help here.

Hey Sundeep,

Have you added Negative Keyword? If you don't want to trigger your ad via other search terms then put those terms in Negative Keyword list.

add only 1 keyword for that Like [GSX130241] in exact match if somebody type same then your ad will show.

Hi Kandarp,

Thanks for replying on my question.

Yes, negative keywords is good Idea but adding keywords in PLA don't work because products are triggered from product title and descriptions not from keywords added in adwords campaign.

correct me If I am wrong?

yes, product-listing-ads are triggered by attributes within
the data (feed) submitted, such as title, description, etc. --
not keywords.

however, product-listing-ads can still use negative-keywords.

think of them as negative search triggers rather than negative "keywords".
