Google Merchant and Microsoft Blob Storage Error

Hey everyone,

We're running into an error with one of our brands running on Google Merchant. We're trying to pull images from Microsoft Blob Storage and the image URL's aren't being pulled properly. Our developers know it is an error in our end. The CMS our website is hosted on appends a parameter in the URL with an expiration time stamp. The images expire and Google refuses to run the products, with good reason.

What I'm asking for is, what is the ideal situation for pulling images? What platform or FTP or database could we pull images from since our website is causing so many issues? An official recommendation from Google would help our developers make the proper decision.

Additionally, is there anyone else who has run into the same error and how did you overcome it?

Thanks!

This is a member to member forum, and Google does not actively answers any questions. If so on very rare occasions.

You could use a 3rd party hosting platform to host your images such as a cloud. Unfortunately we are not able to provide any specific company recommendation but would suggest to Google cloud hosting.

Images must be accessible via http or https so any public hosting platform will be ok.

I hope this has been helpful. If you have further questions, let us know.
