Google Merchant account suspension

My google merchant account is suspended because of Policy violations ...
 
Your Merchant Center account (Prime Diary eBook Store, ID: <edited by a Community Manager as noted below>) is in violation of the following policies:
 
CHECKOUT INCOMPLETE...

 

When I go to the checkout details, the ePlatform shown is Bigcommerce and the API details required are Userneme, API path and API token which I do not have in my open cart. Can someone help me on how to resolve this?

generally, the entire checkout process must be ssl/https secure.

the choices typically are:
(a) do not collect any user-data whatsoever on the site --
including email/user-names -- and use a third-party that is
entirely ssl/https secure, for the entire checkout process;
or, (b) add proper ssl/https on the website for checkout.

also, the returns and refunds policies on the site
must be clearly written and easy to understand --
having just a return-form is not enough.

also, there are additional rules and policies for digital-goods --
product-listing-ads are mainly for physical retail products that
are kept physically in-stock by the merchant.

however, there are many other campaign-types
and ad-formats available that might be a better
fit for advertising certain types of items.

 

some suspensions are simply permanent --

always contact a support-specialist before

making any changes or taking any actions.

Hello,
I don't think you got my question. I was asking why in my Google merchant account under settings → E-commerce platform, I am being asked to provide Bigcommerce API settings instead of Opencart API settings? My CMS is open cart and not Bigcommerce.

(1) as to bigcommerce and opencart --


currently, only bigcommerce is a supported platform
for direct inventory (api) import -- no other platforms
are currently supported for that upload method.

there are no settings specifically for open-cart within the
merchant-center; only bigcommerce is currently supported.

for other e-commerce platforms and other (api) methods,
the best likely course would be to simply contact whoever
is supporting that platform -- in this case, contact opencart
support or ask in the opencart forums for instructions on
the opencart e-commerce platform and merchant-center.

opencart would need to detail the
specific instructions for their system.

 

(2) as to the account-suspension for checkout policy violations --

however, how the (inventory) data gets submitted
has nothing whatever to do with any suspension;
that suspension and import details are two entirely
separate issues.

such an account suspension, for checkout,
usually relates to https/ssl during checkout --
which is a policy requirement; either a secure

third-party -- but no data-collection on the site

or, https/ssl on the site are the typical choices.

 

however, forum members can mainly offer suggestions

based on information posted here in the public forum --

we cannot look into any data or accounts.

 

otherwise, for clarification on these or any issues,

a support specialist at google may be contacted.

 

again, contacting a support-specialist directly,

before making any change or taking any action,

is usually best.
