Hello,

How do I get my product listings to show on google store, google search, and google shopping? So that people can see our product listings when they search for it on google. Without using google adwords.

Hi Sam,

There are multiple options in a way to reach the right customers for your product selling. You can upload your products on Google merchant center account, run Google AdWords to showcase the Product Listing Ads and there is an option to run local inventory ads as well.

This link explains all the options:- https://www.google.com/retail/#?modal_active=none

Google says:

To create Product Listing Ads, you’ll need an AdWords account and a Merchant Center account. For a step-by-step guide, please visit www.google.com/ads/plasetup.

So, if you wish to have your products displayed, Google AdWords is a necessity.

Hi Sam,

I believe this is what you are asking, so please see below, if this is not correct can you clarify further?

The use of Google Shopping for your products goes hand in hand with Google AdWords. It has been so, for a rather long time now. Google Shopping runs on a PPC platform, requiring a Data-Feed of your products being submitted to Google Merchant Center

This can be done in a chosen format most suited to you, -

Tab Delimited - https://support.google.com/merchants/topic/2473823?hl=en-GB
XML - https://support.google.com/merchants/topic/2473799?hl=en-GB
Speadsheet - https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/2364723?hl=en-GB

Whichever you choose, please be sure to adhere to policies and feed specifications set out here -

Once uploaded your items will enter a review period with Google and assuming your products are approved, your items will be eligible to show, however, will not be displayed in results until further steps are followed.

In order to have the eligible items displayed within Google Shopping, you will then need to correctly link your Google Merchant Center account and AdWords account and create a new Shopping Campaign within your AdWords account see here -

There is no way you can avoid listing your items on Google without using AdWords I am afraid.
