Getting GTIN Issues while syncing Shopify Product Feed with Google Merchant Center

Hi There,

 

While we are uploading Shopify product feed on Google Merchant Center (Using Google Shopping app in Shopify), we are getting few common errors for our products that are not approved:

 

  • Barcode GTIN format issue: Confirm barcode was entered correctly.
  • Barcode GTIN format issue: GTIN must be 8, 12, 13, or 14 digits in length.
  • Unknown error: validation/missing_recommended Missing tax information

For few products we are getting below error, while we have filled all fields mentioned here:

 

  • Title is required for this product.
  • Vendor is required for this product.
  • Image is required for this product.
  • Description is required for this product.
  • Published to the online store isn't visible in your online store.

Can someone please help me to solve this issue? If I remove GTIN information, will it work for us?


Please suggest.

For technical issues, please contact Shopify directly, we can not advice you on this.

 

For GTIN, make sure that if the manufacturer has submitted a bar code, than you are required to add the Brand and Bar Code. And if available also the MPN.

If the manufacturer has not assigned a bar code, than remove brand, mpn and gtin and set identifier exists to no
