Hi there,

I'm currently working on the google feeds importing, in the google merchant center, I use the "Schedule" method ask google to fetch my xml feeds locates on my server. But I got a error

"Failed to obtain the file information. Please make sure the file exists AND that your feed has permission to access it"

I can open my google_feeds.xml from the browser, which means the file should already be granted the access permission to the public. But I can manually upload the feeds and all the feeds can be parsed successfully. If any one could give me any advise. Many thanks in advance, appropriated.

Best Regards,

verify the following:

(1) the url matches the registered data-feed, exactly,
by checking the data-feeds tab of the merchant-center.

(2) the url matches the scheduled-fetch settings, exactly
by clicking on the file's name within the data-feed's tab.

(3) the url and directory are crawlable by all google's robots,
at all times, especially during the time of the scheduled fetch,
by checking the log files on the server where the url is located.

unfortually, a url being accessible via any browser such as chrome or firefox
does not indicate that google can crawl the site and access the file properly.

posting the exact data-feed registered and the exact url that is
configured within the scheduled-fetch, along with screen-captures
of the exact settings and the exact messages being seen, here in
the public forums, may allow others to help diagose the issue.

otherwise, the best likely course would be to contact google directly,
so that a specilist at google can look into the account and data-feed.
