GTIN number for 1 product with 17 colors and one image

I have a product that has 17 color options. The manufacturer has a GTIN for each color. However, they have only one image. Should I use the GTIN of the default image? I can't create 17 products with no images . And, it would negatively affect sales if I couldn't offer all of the variants. (This affects 1200 products, each with 17 different colors, and one image.) The manufacturer does not have a "master" GTIN.

You will need to use the GTIN of the assigned variant not 1 GTIN for all variants.

I would recommend to take pictures of the variants with a white background.

Hope it helps.

note that google does not require that all variants be submitted.

however, those variants that are submitted must adhere to all the rules
and policies related to variants -- such as accurate global-trade-data, an
accurate image for each color or pattern variant, proper item_group_id,
valid and accurate variant-attribute values, and items that are submitted
as in stock are in the merchant's current on-hand physical inventory, etc.

one possible strategy is to submit best-selling or high-margin (variant)

items that have an accurate image and adhere to all the policies, first.
