For apparel, how to prioritize one color over the other?

I sell t-shirts in different colors. I noticed that some colors get a higher ctr than others. Now I want to prioritize the better selling color over the other ones.

What I did is adding a custom label to sort the better selling colors into a seperate campaign set to medium priority. The rest of the tshirt colors are set to a campaign with low priority. The medium priority campaign also has a 1 center higher bid.

Did I do this right? Is there anything else you would suggest?

No, not really. Priority settings is related to search terms. Have a read here : https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6275296?co=ADWORDS.IsAWNCustomer%3Dfalse&hl=en

Simply use both labels in 1 campaign, create 2 ad groups each targeting a different custom label.

Hope it helps.

Ah, I misunderstood how the campaign priority worked. Okay I will create 2 ad groups within a single campaign then. The ad group targeting the better selling colors will get a higher bid of course.

I also noticed instead of 2 adgroups, I can just divide them within the same adgroup. So 1 adgroup with the products divided by the custom label, is this also a possible option?
