Feed: Shipping Attribute: How can youspecify Shipping Cost Per Order
The example feed specifications the shipping attribute for txt fee as below...
US:tandard Rate:4.95 USD,US::Next Day:8.50 USD
US:tandard Free Shipping:0 USD
So how do you say its $5 per order regardless of any number of items? as the example method express the cost for each item sold.
I am in the UK and it is very unusual to get shipping costs per product, every eCommerce website seems to charge per order even the big ones like Amazon.
Re: Feed: Shipping Attribute: How can youspecify Shipping Cost Per Ord
If your shipping is £5 throughout all items, then you would be best to simply place this as a standard rate within your Dashboard and remove shipping from your feed. Otherwise, a simple method of
GBtandard:5.00 GBP should be placed in all items shipping attribute.
As your item being shipped would be £5.00 with or without another item being added, this is the cost you must display as shipping.
Once users visit your site and place this into their shopping cart it must display the correct pricing. If the customer then purchases more from your site at that time, they will not be charged further, simply because your items are all listed in your feed with £5.00 shipping.
You can however, within the promotional message available in your adwords setting for Shopping Campaigns, include a message which would state this promotional shipping. e.g. "Fixed £5.00 Shipping on all orders". "Maximum of £5.00 Shipping on all Orders"
