Facing issue for product approval in Google Merchant Center

Hi there,

We are running Product Listing Ads in Google. We've uploaded product feeds but after few days it will be disapproved our feeds and suspend the account.

Our products fall into health and nutrition category. Google Merchant Center was showing error is "Automatic item disapprovals due to policy violation" and suspend the account.

Also, we discuss with Google helplines they suggest us to remove the drug-related products (such as supplements and vitamins) or submit the pharmaceutical certificate at Google but our products don't need any prescriptions for buying it.

However, We've removed all drug-related products (such as supplements and vitamins) and submitted only the Beauty products such as Hair Oil, Nail care products, soap etc. Still, it is not working.

Google send us an email for "We would request you to upload the feed once again to so that it can be reviewed from our side. Once the review is done which might take 24-48 hrs. , the feeds might get approved and your products would start running."

We've again uploaded the new feeds but we are not getting our products approved in Google Merchant Center.

Can you please guide us how we can resolve the issue?

First, note that selling health related products on Google Adwords has lots of policies and take that into consideration.

Second remove any claims or statements from the website including reviews, where no scientific proof is provided.

For example : Saying it helps with hair growth is a claim, but if you can not prove this is the case, than remove it.

Simply removing the violated products will not work, due to the nature of products being health related. Normally this would be ok, but not with health related products.

Also make sure you do not sell any of the listed ingredients :

I recommend you remove the data feed at once, and start looking at your website for any violations and resolve the issue before attempting to submit a data feed. This way you can avoid getting a suspension.

If you provide us with your website, we might be able to provide you with more assistance. Please note this is a member to member forum and we are not part of Google. We simply help fellow merchants.

Hope it helps.
