Entering FALSE for GTIN on Google Spreadsheet for Google Shopping Still Getting Error

I make handmade items. There is no GTIN for my products.I have a spreadsheet that is the template for Google Merchants. I left the GTIN blank and got an error. I entered FALSE and still got an error. Where do I enter the FALSE value for Google Merchants? Please be specific. I'm so close to getting my products on Google Shopping and this is the last thing I need.

Thank you!!!

simply set the identifier_exists attribute to an exact value of FALSE
and leave all global-trade-data (gtin, brand, mpn) values entirely empty.

for a spreadsheet, with handmade items, simply:

(1) create a new column (header) called exactly:
identifier_exists

(2) enter the value, for any handmade item, for identifier_exists as exactly:
FALSE

(3) then, for all handmade items, leave all global-trade-data
(gtin, brand, mpn) values entirely blank -- entirely empty.

a gtin, brand, or mpn (global-trade-data) value must
be either (a) exactly correct, or (b) entirely empty --
FALSE, or any other value, is never allowed.

only a manufacturer can assign valid, correct, global-trade-data.
