Dynamic remarketing with out additional codes?

Hi guys,


I need help. Is it possible to enable dynamic remarketing with out adding additional custom parameters for ecommerce?

As we have already deployed the Merchant Center and in Google Analytics, the "Dynamic Attributes" has been created as a "Retail" business type.

Now the question is, I don't have the 3 custom parameters ecomm_pageType, ecomm_prodid, ecomm_totalValue yet, but how about the result if I choose "Product SKU" for the "Product ID" section? The optional attributes "Page Type" & "Total Value" leave blank.


Because after this operation process, I can successful create dynamic remarketing ads in AdWords, but I'm not sure whether the ads can be delivered or not, also I would like to know the pros and cons for this method. Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!

The added ecomm variables are required if you want target your audience with products, or relevant products that they visited on the site.

This allows Google to accurately showcase the most appropriate product when you are remarketing.

Now, I'm sure it will currently work, but will not be as effective as highly focused ads.
