Dynamic Remarketing Tag error some products are not valid

I keep running into an issue when I go to validate my products with Google Tag Assistant it says that "some products are not valid" even though the product IDs on the page and on the feed match exactly.  I have tried copying and pasting the product IDs straight from the merchant center onto my site and going to the product page and I continue to get the same error.  

 

Our product IDs are for car parts and have numeric IDs such as 6503068 and sometimes they have alphanumeric IDs such as 55396767ad.  I have noticed that when I validate the products with only numeric product IDs the validation works fine.  However, when I try to validate an alphanumeric product ID I receive the error "some products are not valid".  The only difference that I have seen between the alphanumeric product IDs is that in our feed the letters are lower case and on the site they are upper case, would this trigger the error message?   

 

Does anyone have any insight into what could be causing this issue?

the id values must match exactly -- including case.

 

also, be certain that the corresponding javascript values are

quoted -- otherwise, only numeric id values will be matched.

 

the not-valid issue may also be seen with variant products --
e.g. supported variants submitted improperly, without a proper

identical item_group_id for all items within each variant group
or the landing-pages not properly conforming to all google's
policies related to variant items, or an unsupported variant

being submitted more than once.

 

the same physical item may be submitted only once --

regardless of how many other (e.g. make or model car)

products the physical, in-stock, inventory item may fit.

otherwise, verify the following:

(1) be certain the page loads properly and

fully without any (javascript) errors.

(2) be certain that the feed and the specific item have no issues
within the merchant-center account, the item has a searchable
status, and has been active for at least 72-hours.

(3) be certain the item can be seen within the shopping-campaign.

(4) be certain that the google_conversion_id is accurate and valid.

(5) check for any details within the linked ad-account that may
be related to the detected-error -- e.g. under view tag details.

(6) importantly, google may take 72-hours or so before the tags (firing)
can be recognized by the ad-account and tag-assist after the tags have

been initially deployed or after any change to a page that affects a tag;
the 72-hours or so begins after the item from the merchant-center's
feed can be seen within the linked ad-account's shopping-campaign --
assuming there are no issues with the feed or item in the merchant-center.

also, try clearing the browser's cache and cookies.

This is a long shot.

Make sure when submitting javascript that the product id is encapsulated with single quotes. Because an id with letters is a string, a string always needs to be quoted. The best course of action would be to always quote a product id, regardless if its a string or integer.

This might be your issues.
