Duplicate Product in Data Feed under Different Title & Description

Hey all,

Came across a bit of a roadblock here and was hoping someone knew the answer to this.

It's my understand that a single product in a data feed cannot have various titles and descriptions. I want to show a certain product that is useful across multiple niches/sports. In order to show for all niches/sports I need to overhaul the titles and descriptions in my data feed. Only problem is, there isn't a catch-all keyword for the products I'm selling.

This leaves me with only one option -- duplicating products in Shopify -> push them into the data feed -> optimize the duplicated products for a different niche/sport.

Is this possible/allowed? I know I can't apply multiple titles or descriptions to a single physical product, but if I duplicated the product and only changed the titles and descriptions, would that work?

a new and used item are considered separate physical
items and may be listed twice without any issue --
if accurate and valid condition values are submitted.

google has not divulged how policy violations are detected.

the automated systems may take awhile to detect violations, others
may report potential violations directly to google, or google may flag
or review any submitted data items, merchants, businesses, accounts,
websites, or supply-chains, at any time.

attempting to circumvent google's policies is also considered an
abuse-of-the-ad-network; any violation can result in items simply
being blocked, or a permanent ban from the program, at any time --
especially if repeated or an egregious violation is found during an
investigation by a policy specialist.

of course, google is the final arbiter of all policies.

physical inventory items may be listed only once --
or is otherwise a policy violation and grounds for
a disapproval or suspension, at any time.

title should simply name the physical item.

the description should simply describe the physical
item's characteristics but may also indicate how the
physical item might be used across multiple niches.

I actually saw a comment from a similar post regard almost the same question. One thing I wasn't sure about is when you say "physical product", how does Google know my product is a duplicate of another? For instance, I have worked in feeds where the products are only slightly different (but not a variant) with very similar values, imagery, and identical categorization. I never saw any issues with those data feeds, so I'm curious as to how Google can tell that the product isn't just a slightly different products worthy of a 'new prodduct' (even if it's not).
