Disapproved products corrected - how long before active?

Hi,

 

We restarted an old campaign last week - recreated the feed and manually uploaded. However, due to a website change, the URLs were all incorrect so the products were disapproved. 

 

We've now corrected this and re-loaded the file with correct URLs. However, all the products are still showing as disapproved.

 

Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for Google to re-crawl them - and is there any way to speed this up?

 

Tried the live chat but didn't get very far.

for product-listing-ads, generally, a re-crawl and state change
for all items takes 24-72 hours or so -- after a correction and
data (feed) re-upload within the merchant-center.

for a url mismatch, be certain the registered url
and link attribute in the data-feed match exactly.

importantly, a single disapproval may sometimes be for multiple issues --
generally, a hand-inspection of the data-feed, items, website, and account,
against all current rules, policies, and recommendations should be done

before contacting google.

(a) check the main dashboard of the merchant-center for overall account
status; (b) check the current-issues section under the diagnostics-tab for
specific account, data-feed, and items (website) issues -- by clicking on
each of the blue-boxed errors, warnings, or notifications; (c) check the
specific feed status by clicking on the data-feed's name under the feeds-tab;
(d) check the individual item's status by clicking on the item's title under
the products-tab and clicking on the link under the technical-details area;
and (e) check the emails listed under the settings-tab -- where google would
send an email detailing the issues; be certain google is not blocked via spam
or similar filters.

 

also, to avoid state-change issues, be certain to (temporarily)

pause all automated feed re-uploads until all items have had

a searchable status at least once.

otherwise, after all potential issues have been corrected, within the data-feed
or on the website, and 72-hours (three-business-days) have passed after the
feed has been re-uploaded, without a re-crawl and state change, re-contact
google and ask for a product-listing-ads merchant-center feed specialist.

as an aside, account-reviews for ads have little or
nothing to do with a merchant-center disapproval --
the time frames to resolve the issues are sometimes coincidently similar.

Thank you.

At the moment all products are still showing as "Disapproved" rather than "Awaiting Review". Will they be rechecked automatically?

Hi Alison,
Google work hard to get your ads up and running fast. Before that they go through with review process to make sure that your ads is safe and appropriate. Google review your ads including keywords, landing pages and mobile apps to make sure that you understand their advertising policies.

So whenever you create or edit an ads its automatically send them for review. Usually this process take one business day and some even within a few hours.

Some ads take longer to review depending on complexity. If your ads are under reviewed for more than one business day, please be patient.

If your ad is shown as "disapproved," It doesn't meet their policy requirements. To see more details about why it's disapproved,

1. Click the columns button in the toolbar above the statistics table.
2. Click customize columns.
3. In the "Attributes" section, click add next to "policy details."
4. Click apply

Than you see the name of the policy you violated. Wish it will work for you Smiley Happy

product-listing-ads do not use keywords.

also, product-listing-ads are automatically
created by google from submitted inventory
(feed) data -- not directly by advertisers.

an item disapproval status in the merchant
center is not the same as an ad disapproval --
although the rules and policies are similar.
