Hello Emmanuel ~ I have a question about how to Site verify with the Merchant HTML ?  DO I Just Put it Anywhere? Like in the STORE LISTING Page of Console?

Because I did & I go back to the Merchant Center to Hit "VERIFY & CLAIM"

& it Says;

Verification failed - We couldn't locate your verification file.
Claiming failed - You must verify your URL before you can claim it.

please note that apps have nothing whatever to do with the merchant-center.

in-app-purchaes, apps, and play-console, relate to a merchant-account;
shopping-ads, site verification, and claim relate to a merchant-center-account.

a merchant-account is for selling apps on google-play;
a merchant-center-account is for purchasing shopping-ads from google;
these are completely different google programs and are not related in any way.

shopping-ads usually require a website and physical inventory, first,

and are mainly for retail-merchants, purchasing ads, to help sell their

physical in stock inventory -- not for apps.

if the issue is to verify a website for purchasing shopping-ads,
then use the google-search-console to first verify the website:
https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/35179
for any issues with verification of the website, the best
likely course is to post within the webmasters-help-forum:
https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!categories/webmasters/verification
then, claim the website within the merchant-center-account.

a merchant-center-account is mainly for purchasing shopping-ads from google --
typically to help sell a retail-merchant's in-stock inventory, on their website.

if the issue is for in-app-purchases or apps,
then do not use any merchant-center-account --
for any apps or play-console related issues,
google may be contacted using the following:

https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/billing_admin.html

For In App Purchases,.

Instructions Say:

HTML file upload (most common method): You’ll upload an HTML file to your server and we’ll verify that the file exists in the specified location. To use this method, you must be able to upload new files to your server. To stay verified, do not remove the HTML file even after you’ve verified and claimed your website URL.

Questions~  What Does this mean by "Server" ?

& Where "EXACTLY" Do I Submit this HTML File (In the STORE LISTING) ?? Cuz I DID !?

BUT****** IT WONT

& Then' What Further Do I Do with the Merchant Account' Or Anywhere Else' WHERE DO I GO?  ,..IS IT ALL SET UP???

Please avoid submitting multiple messages and post, this will not allow us to help you in an effective way. As this is a member to member forum, the more post there are the more work it is for us. We are here to help, but would appreciate just 1 post. Thank you.

You can verify a website with different methods, depending on your eCommerce application.

I recommend reading this documentation to know what needs to be done : https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/176793?hl=en

You must put a html meta tag on your homepage or a html file on your route website. Which is explained in the above documentation.

Hope it helps.

(1) for in-app-purchases do not use the google-merchant-center, at all.

do not set up anything with

google-merchant-center for

any app related purchases.

(2) yes -- google-merchant-center is mainly
for retail-merchants who sell physical goods
on their website.

a google-merchant-center-account and

a google-merchant-account for apps,

are not the same, at all.

(3) yes, the google play-console is for apps --

there is also the cloud-console for google api's.

(4) admob is mainly for selling ads on a mobile-app,
that is able to use the google-mobile-ads-sdk --
to earn money aside from any direct app-purchase.

(5) as to anything else, that depends on exactly what is wanted;
for example --
(a) to sell an app on google-play,

(b) or sell ads, to other people, within an app,
(c) or purchase ads from google to advertise an app for sale on google-play,
or something else.

other than purchasing advertising from google --

any app related issue is rather outside the scope

of this forum.

That makes much more sense! All I'm selling is an upgrade to an app that uses Google Cloud Platform API & so it costs to use this' I am providing a very powerful Interface in which I am merely needing to provide minimal costs for these upgrades if people are anxious to get more' or they can stick to their free version & upgrade alacart' with only the feature they use most of~
