Click the link for "Why is this item disapproved?"

On the products tab in the merchant center for our datafeed & google shopping, some items are disapproved or invalid.  The instructions say to find out why to click on the product title and then click on "why is this item disapproved".  But there is no such link.  

 

How does one figure out which of many possibilities is the cause of invalidation?

the why-link is under the products-tab

I still cannot find this link on my account. I've clicked the product that is disapproved and I cannot see any link "why is this item disapproved".

the why-link is only available for a limited set of product disapproval issues.

OK, so "the why-link is only available for a limited set of product disapproval issues."
None of my disapproved items have the why-link.

What does one do to find out what policy violations are on some of my items without contacting some ALIENS IN SPACE who can read the minds of Google geniuses or can decipher the rules they used????

I am losing hair that I have very little to lose.
Help!!!

Oh,
I forgot to ask - why does the approval/disapproval number constantly change - example
A t 11:40 AM I have 150 approved, at 5:20 PM 145 approved, EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO CHANGE MADE AND THERE ARE EXACTLY THE SAME PRODUCTS .

Isn't this idiotic and frustrating that even Google' s programs can't make up their minds??

when contacting google, indicating that the issues relate
to the merchant-center and product-listing-ads may help.

there are many many issues that may trigger a disapproval --
issues can relate to the data being submitted, product images,
type of item, account settings, feed settings, target-country,
website details, supply-chain, or some combination of these;
not having a why-link for all disapproved items is possible.

the system may take 72-hours or so to assign a final status to
all items -- depending on the number of items, how long google
takes to crawl the site and all images submitted, and other factors;

during this time, the individual item status and number of items

that are shown or not shown as disapproved may fluctuate.

temporarily pausing any and all data re-uploads for 72-hours
may help reduce the severity of individual status fluctuations.

the disapproval status may also change depending on the details
of how the items are submitted; for example, be certain id values
never change for any item and there is only one, single, data-feed
registered with google.


unfortunately, forum-members cannot look into submitted data or accounts --
forum-members can mainly offer suggestions based on the information that
is posted here within the public forums.

 

as an aside, if a third-party is involved with handling the data

then, contacting the third-party support is usually prudent --

e.g. shopify, ekm-powershop, big-commerce, support.
