I 'm the new mem using Google Marchent with Data feed, target Country is Switzeland and target Language is German, but in Data Feed can I submit category in English?

If I can, will Google Show it on Shopping, and show in German or English?

How can Google handle it?

Thanks for all

for google_product_category the values may be

either in all english or all in a required language

of the registered feed's target-country -- but

never mixed.

a google_product_category value

must be exactly as google defines

and categorize the physical item

or how the item might be used.

for product_type the values must be all

in a required language of the registered

feed's target-country.

a product_type value should simply categorize

the physical item or how the physical item might

be used and may be almost any value you wish.

language requirements for the registered

data-feed and website are currently here --

generally, google uses both google_product_category

and product_type to help select the most relevant item

for the user and to help group items for bidding within

your adwords shopping-campaign structure; so, both

values should follow the (language) requirements and

use standard > breadcumbs as a separator.
