Any help please - google merchant tax settings
I have tried phoning Google merchant team and have been sent a standard e-mail saying it could take up to 3 working days to get back to me!!! OUch!! In the meantime we am losing valuable business because our products aren't being displayed in Google shopping.
Has anyone else come across this issue? The tax setting only shows tax setting for the United States and not the UK and there's no option to change it. So we can't show our products prices including our 20% vat.Any suggestions. Our website is run through Shopify. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

with respect to tax settings only available
for the united-states -- that sounds correct.
the separate tax attribute and tax settings
simply do not apply to any u.k. registered
data-feed and cannot be used with respect
to any u.k. submitted data.
for u.k. submitted data, vat
must be included in the price.
for u.k. submitted data, the submitted price (that includes vat),
the most prominent price displayed on the link landing-page,
and the default add-to-cart price, must all match exactly --
or is otherwise grounds for a disapproval or suspension
from the program, at any time.
the price must be displayed identically for all users, regardless
of where the user is physically located or any other identifiable
information such as ip-address, browser (user-agent), etc.
in this case, to be certain that the (vat included) price is properly
submitted and displayed on the website, the best likely course
