Hi Joanne

Can you provide a link to an image that Google is stating is inappropriate, but does not contain your branding?

All images I have chosen from your website, either have a logo or branding of some sorts within the image.

Have you ensured your images abide by the regulations set out within this link?

Hi Tom

Thanks for your reply.

Here is a link to a product page which contain one of my images
http://www.ukcurtainpoles.co.uk/acatalog/Swish-Elements-35mm-Belgravia-Pole-Set-360cm-Chrome-SEL3536...

This image is 200 x 200 pixels

The basic product info for the main image gives minimum size of 32 x 32 pixels so I thought that 200 x 200 would be ok?

kind regards
Joanne

Hi Joanne

The image dimensions recommended are that of 800px x 800px.

Have you uploaded a fresh feed with your new images with the logo/branding removed?

Hi Tom

It is a work in progress at the moment removing logos.

I had a feeling it was the image size, but can't understand why Google state 32 x 32px as a minimum size when they really want them all changed to 800 x 800.

Thanks for your help

Kind regards
Joanne

"Images must be larger than 32 x 32 pixels ..."

"The following types of images are also not allowed ...
illustrations that are not the actual product images"

first, you're welcome.

300x300 pixels is a usually a good middle ground --
some websites cannot keep pace with all google's
crawl requests of the larger 800 pixel image files.

also, be certain that the url value for image_link is the
static image file (jpeg, png, etc.) that shows the product
the customer will be purchasing, not the html container.
e.g.

Thanks

Why can't 200 x 200 be a good middle ground too!
Then I wouldn't have to change any of them!

200x200 should be accepted in most cases --
but as was indicated, there are many other
rules, regulations, policies, and requirements
that must be met.

for example, apparel images must be at least 250x250 pixels,
illustrations, watermarks, text, excessive borders, etc., are
generally not allowed for any submitted image.

be certain to review all related image specifications -- not just size.

the best likely course would be to change one item's image and image_link,
re-upload the data-feed, and wait 24-72 hours or so to verify that the issue

has indeed been corrected -- before proceeding to make the change to all

similarly flagged images.
