API Diagnostics Vs Data Feed Shopify Import

Hey guys and gals,

So i'm a little confused at the moment, I connected my shopify account with the Google Shopping App. I was able to publish all my products to the Google Merchant Center. How come my products aren't automatically listed in the data feed, if it has access to my products via shopify. Is API Diagnostics the same as the Data Feed? Manually uploading the products via the data feed would take forever since we have hundreds and hundreds of products.

the api and a data-feed file are completely different
methods to submit physical inventory data to google.

api results show under the api-diagnostics tab;
data-feed file results show under the feeds-tab.

results for both methods -- show under the products-tab
by clicking on an item's title, and partially under the main
dashboard and diagnostics tabs, for account, item, and

website related issues.

generally, only one method should be used to submit data --

either via a data-feed-file or the content-api, but not both.

if there are no items under the products-tab then,

the best likely course would be to contact shopify

support directly for guidance.

Okay awesome this is exactly the information I needed. All my items are listed under the products tab and my content API Diagnostics is up and running. I just wasn't sure if I also needed to also upload them via the feed tab as-well. Thanks for the help!
