Mobile Targeting isn't showing conversions

We have a simple A/B test on one of our pages. We have split it to Desktop experiment (1) and Mobile experiment (2).

To do that we have duplicated the desktop experiment and just change the targeting of the device category from Desktop to Mobile.

That was the only change, and we ran tests our selves from desktop and mobile.

Desktop showed results as expected while mobile showed none (0, zero)

What could be the reason?

Hi

Could it be that your mobile users are redirected to a different URL?

No, they have the exact same flow, regarding URLs etc..
We did 4 test runs, on each we started a new session, and still, all 4 tests doesn't show a correct count.
We do see the transactions as mobile on Analytics though. But it didn't count on the test.
To be sure we have set main and secondary objective (custom and goal from GA) as page view by the thank-you page URL.
My main concerns right now are:
a) Maybe since we are doing few purchases each time (around 4 to 8) the numbers are so low and Optimize waits for more traffic to start showing conversions (even though we waited more than 12 hours and that the sessions are being counted already)
b) Somehow google Optimize "recognize" us, and filter our tests.

If we could see in real time the experiment name, variant we get and the conversion detection (from the chrome extension) it would have solved all that.

Any idea where to look more?

Well, the results have appeared after we made more purchases and gave it some more time...
So I guess it a matter of minimum mass of coversions/sessions and about at least 24 hours.

OK, glad that you figured things out.

Yes Optimize will need about 24 hours to start showing the first results in its report but you can also see how many active users are on an experiment in realtime, from the experiment details page.
