Analyze a text A/B test

Hi, i created a A/B test just to be able to understand the CTR difference in two different text linking the same page. For e.g original text is: "Discounted Products" and version B is "Sale". The results i see in analytics page are as the conversion, goals, bounce rate etc. But i want to see if there is a change in CTR because of the text difference. How can i achieve that?

Regards.

It'd be great to hear what Google would recommend in this situation. Because click tracking is not available like it is in Optimizely or Adobe Target, you will need to create a custom event goal in Google Analytics. Then in Google Tagmanager, you should create a tag for the experiment where on click of whatever element you're attempting to track, send a GAEvent equal to whatever you named your custom event goal on step 3 in Google Analytics.
