Is there a way to tag variant name to the URL?

I want to know if there is a way to have a parameter in the URL so that we can identify which variant it is. Unfortunately, the only we can track the purchases is with the source URLs that are tracked in our CRM. So, if we could have the variant name in URL we can see how the changes are affecting purchases and not just signups.

Hi @Sai Vamsi K,

Google identifies variants through the _gaexp cookie. You can see the format kind of like

_gaexp=GAX1.2.4ueodJ1VRg-LQUvW23GuQg.17410.0

The middle part id the ID. You can extract the last part which is the variant no. "0" on the conversion page & store in CRM.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Optimize's main purpose to define which elements are taken more engagement than the original want.You have to measure the test in min 2 weeks than you can analyze your test results.

In summary, You can not do the variant name as an URL.Test-Analyze-Implement.

You have to follow these steps.
