Is it possible to tell which test I am while viewing a page?

I have been running a test for about a day now, on a page I know gets regular traffic, but see zero sessions in the reporting tab of the test. I just want to test out the reporting functionality so I didn't make any visual changes yet. When I load up the url, is there any way I can confirm that I am in a test and perhaps which variation I am being shown?

One way is to use chrome developer tools and inspect the cookies of your page.

If the experiment is running you should see the standard Google Analytics _gaexp cookie which should include the experiment IDs and variations that you have been assigned to.
