Hey there,

Above my experiment details, i have the following message:

To start this experiment please link your container to an Optimize 360-enabled property.

After clicking on Learn More, i get this message:
Experiments can only be run on Optimize 360-enabled Analytics properties. Contact your administrator or Account Manager to enable Optimize for more properties.

I deployed the snippet using Google Tag Manager, and i linked my account with Google Analytics.
In my Google Analytics property settings, i have confirmation the implementation is correct : "Actively linked. Receiving data."

However, my account isn't a 360 Google Analytics account. Is it the reason why i can't start my experiment?

Hi @Thomas P,

Please visit this link and sign up for the Optimize beta, which is free. Once you receive your invitation, you can give your experiment a try. Anything dependent on the Optimize platform will need it linked to your Analytics account. The Google Tag Manager will not satisfy the need.

Kind Regards,

James

Hey James,

Thanks for replying me.

This error message is actually displayed in Optimize beta, for which i have already subscribed (as shown on the screenshot below):

And my implementation looks alright as confirmed on Google Analytics:

So not sure what to fix here.

Please try unlinking and re-linking your GA account.

I tried unlinking and relinking my GA account.

I tried deleting my account and do a fresh start, with a new Google Optimizer ID that i deployed again with GTM.

Both didn't change anything. I'm still stuck.

So I'm wondering: do i have access to the Optimize beta from non 360 Universal Google Analytics account.

Would it work with a 360 account?

I have tried the same solutions that Thomas tried and I still see the same dialog regarding "Optimize 360 enabled GA account required."

From today, the error message is now different.

1. On top of my experiment page, i have this message stating that my configuration is correct:

Screen Shot 2016-11-04 at 12.31.14 PM.png

2. After i click on "Start Experiment", i got to this step:

Screen Shot 2016-11-04 at 12.36.41 PM.png

3. After i click on "Start", i got these error messages (which btw don't give me any info about how to solve the problem):

Also i must precise the following elements:

- I didn't change anything from my previous attempt to run my experiments to get these different error messages.

- I tried several goals (including as predefined goals)

- I also tried several set of pages

- I only tried AB test (no MVT)
