Hi guys, I need to make a redirect test in Google Optimize where my Variant URL has the same Original parameters.

Example:

Original: www.mysite.com/originalUrl?id=123

Variant: www.mysite.com/variantUrl?id=123

Original: www.mysite.com/originalUrl?id=456

Variant: www.mysite.com/variantUrl?id=456

Is it possible?

redirect URL but the same GET parameter

I'm setting up a redirect test with the same requirement and couldn't find an answer. So I just created a quick demo experiment to see what happens. Turns out that any parameters in the targeted URL (original) get added on to the variation URLs.

Yes, it's possible and Optimize will handle this correctly by default.
