Combining redirect and A/B test on the same page
I'm currently running a redirect test and redirecting 50% users from domain.com to new.domain.com, but also A/B test on new.domain.com
When I started A/B test, the number of users in redirect test started to drop off drastically (4:1 for original page in redirect test).
Correct me if I'm wrong; in my opinion, this happens: Once the user is redirected new.domain.com, the A/B test "rewrites" &exp in the cookie and sets the value of A/B test, sending that value to GA, thus impacting the number of users in redirect test.
Is that possible? If yes, is there a way to segment users or session based on that flow? Here's a screenshot where you can notice difference in URL parameters, script and exp
