Sessions + Clicks Issues due to GCLID

Hi:

I recently linked my adwords account to google analytics and the sessions and clicks are wildly different.  I realize they are different metrics but at times the sessions are zero while clicks are greater than zero.

Additionally, Google Analytics alerted me that some gclids are being truncated but I cannot figure out why.  The site  doesn't have redirects so not sure what else would cause this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric

You can get truncated gclid errors from copy/paste errors if people are sharing your URL.

There are multiple reasons for session/click mismatches.  Google provides a detailed explanation here:  https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/4588315?hl=en
