Hi

We run a number of PLA campaigns.

They cost x amount ( ERS)

I wanto to see if those users who came to our site via Google Shopping Campaigns become repeat customers?

Is there a way to measure it?

Thanks a lot

Hi Roman,

refer to 'acquisition > campaigns > all campaigns' report, insert 'user type' as secondary dimension and filter for your PLA campaign names.

Hi
Thanks for that.

This is the returning user before an ad click. is this correct? In scenario:

I visit the site on Monday via any channel.
I visit the site via PLA click.
My visit get recorded as "returned user" under second dimension you mentioned.

I look for:
I visit the site via PLA click.
I visit the site again via any channel.
I am now a repeat customer driven to the site via PLA campaigns.
Does it make sense?

Is there a way to find these in GA?

Thanks

Hi Roman,

Okay, I see. Then refer to the 'Conversions > multi-channel funnels > top conversion paths' report, set path length to all, look-back window to 90 days, insert 'campaign (or source/medium path)' as secondary dimension, set up an advanced filter using 'include campaign (or source/medium path) containing your PLA campaign name' to see if your PLA campaigns have been one-shots or instead starting points for further marketing touch points thereafter.

Roman / Christoph,
Yes - MCF reports would have this data in one form or another. Rather that filtering, I would create a "User Defined Segment" in the MCF reports to include only first interactions that are clicks on PLA campaigns (eg AdWords campaigns starting with "PLA").

Cheers,
Mark
