Hi,

Can anyone tell me why my data values change when I go from a single week view to a week-on-week comparison? Seems odd!!

If you have a lot of sessions, Analytics sample your data.

You can use https://developers.google.com/analytics/solutions/google-analytics-spreadsheet-add-on , and try to get more data in comparsion.

You can buy Google Analytics Premium and happy with analysis without sampling.

You can export data from single week, export data from second week and comparsion data in excel or Google Spreadsheet.

You can set Higher Precision (slowly Procession) https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1042498?hl=en

Hi,

Can you try: At the top of the report, below the date range selector, select Faster response, less precision or Slower response, greater precision.

When you compare values to other time frames, there are additional numbers like the % change and the previous time frame's values. So now you are seeing 3 values. Are you saying the original value for the first time frame has changed too?
