https://partyprostogo.com    (my website) - I'm in the middle of page #2

Thanks,

Hi Brian,

Bounce rate doesn't affect ranking on Google search.

Actually, it seems like your friend has a problem - the Google Analytics tracking code appears twice on the same page causing double tracking. It means that every time the page loads, it’ll fire two page views and that's why your friend has 1.5 bounce rate. It's inaccurate. Smiley Happy

You don't have this problem. You should tell that to your friend as well. He should fix this and then he will see the actual bounce rate.

If you'd like to learn more about how the bounce rate metric is calculated, I recommend reading this topic: https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Google-Analytics-Reports/Bounce-and-Sessions/td-p/599111

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Taavi,

Thank you for answering my question. I just don't understand why he is on page one. He told me he has 30 Blog post. We have over 240 blog post. We have way more content then any other DJ service in St. Louis on our page. Just not sure what more we can do to get one page one.

Hi again,

There are hundreds of different factors that might affect your ranking. One thing that I know is that Google loves websites that load quickly and have a great UX.

Check this out: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpartyprostogo.com%2F&tab=m...

There are couple of things that you can improve.

In addition, I have seen lots of great SEO courses out there. Here's a great list of them: http://seoforbeginners.com/seo-certifications-courses/

If it's really important to you, I think it would be a great investment. I am not SEO expert but I would start from there.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.
